KIA CEED WINS CAR OF THE YEAR AT THE INTELLIGENT INSTRUCTOR AWARDS 2019
- Equipment, safety and affordable running costs make Kia Ceed a great option for driving instructors
Kia Motors (UK) Ltd is delighted to announce that the Kia Ceed available at Speedwell Kia has been awarded the Driving Instructor’s ‘Car of the Year’ in the Intelligent Instructor Awards 2019.
The versatility of the Ceed makes it a perfect choice for driving instructors who look for a model that can function as both a mobile office and a training vehicle. Features such as the adjustable seats and steering wheel, alongside the good all-round view from the driving seat, allows the Ceed to match the requirements of different students.
David Motton, Editor of FirstCar and judge for the Intelligent Instructor Awards, commented: “It's well priced, well equipped, safe, and affordable to run. It's also roomy enough to make a practical car for an instructor, but easy to drive for a learner. It also gets extra credit in our scoring because it's available with a dash cam as an official accessory.”
Richard Dredge, Chief Road Tester at Intelligent Instructor, added: “I’m a massive fan of Kias. Indeed, the Ceed is now one of our favourite cars because its talents are so broad, and that’s why it’s definitely worth your attention.”
Raul Martinez, Sales Manager at Speedwell Kia commented: “The Ceed is a very adaptable model, which is why it works so well as a learner vehicle. Its reliability, functionality and safety features make the Ceed a logical investment for driving instructors, which is why it’s great to see it recognised in the Intelligent Instructor awards.”
The third generation Ceed occupies a unique position in the Kia line-up, perceived by buyers as the most dynamic and sporty car to drive, while also being one of the most reliable, practical and recognisable. Advanced safety and driver assistance systems such as High Beam Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Forward Collision Warning are valuable features for both an instructor and fleet vehicle, all of which come as standard on the latest model.
Speedwell Kia stocks a wide range of new and used Kia vehicles, including the Kia Ceed with prices starting from £18,850.
