Yes, someone else can return your rental car but only if they’re a qualified additional on the rental agreement.
No, you must have a full, valid driver’s license in order to rent a car for business or pleasure.
As a rule, yes, you can take rental cars abroad. However, this is subject to additional paperwork and additional costs, and is at our discretion. If you wish to take your rental car abroad, please check first with us first.
At the time of collection, we advise all hirers to report any damage or accidents via the Towergate First Call app. Using the app, you can report directly to the insurer, rental location and insurance broker.
Yes, you can drop your rental off early, but only during opening hours. Please check our opening hours present on this page.
Yes, drivers do pay VAT on rental cars. The breakdown of this should be included on your invoice.
When you rent a car with Kia, please bring a valid driver’s license and a credit or debit card in the hirer’s name. We also need an additional ID, less than 3 months old, in the hirer’s name to confirm the address. Please note that we don’t accept mobile phone bills.
If you require a vehicle change for whatever reason, we may be able to accommodate you. However, this may be subject to additional charges if a larger group is required. If you do wish to switch your rental car, please speak to a member of staff or give our Rental Reservations Team a call on 01392 715935.
Yes, security deposits are taken for all bookings by a debit/credit card. This is fully refundable on return provided the vehicle is in the same condition when returned.
Rentals must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at check-out.
